The Winter Holiday Season at NAHATÉ Dubai

NAHATÉ sits on the Podium Level of Capital Club in DIFC, where fine dining, cocktails, and nightlife share the same address. During the winter holiday season, dinner can flow naturally into drinks and a later night without leaving the venue. “More Than Home” is the idea behind the space: personal in spirit, theatrical in detail.

Created by Sam Florentsev and Jenya Makeeva, NAHATÉ was conceived as a second home, with hospitality kept personal even within a highly theatrical setting. That contrast between privacy and theatre runs through the restaurant, from dinner at the table to the later part of the night.

A long night can start at the table. Take your time with caviar service and oysters, then move into dishes such as Hokkaido scallops, King Crab Pizzette, Lobster & Caviar, Australian Wagyu MB7+ and black cod. Larger sharing dishes are part of the menu too, so dinner can stretch across several rounds rather than arrive all at once. If there is room at the end, our desserts include Scandal with panna cotta, white chocolate and red berries, and our NAHATÉ Signature with banana, praline and two chocolates.

Beyond the table, the rooms have a character of their own. Hand-drawn murals, jungle and animal motifs and more than 12,000 sheets of Italian 22k gold leaf shape what we call a “jungle meets jewelry box” aesthetic. Bespoke furniture and custom details continue across the rooms. Every artwork, from murals to embroidered silk screens, was hand-drawn and custom-painted without stencils. In the Main Room, a custom Baccarat chandelier hangs over the Red Chef’s Table. In the Red Room, Baccarat chandeliers hang over the long table, with Baccarat glassware used throughout the room. NAHATÉ also has dedicated rooms for private experiences.

Baccarat appears again at the bar. Our cocktail programme includes a dedicated collection served in Harcourt, Louxor, Massena and Harmonie crystal. The wider drinks list includes Champagne, wine, rare spirits and signature cocktails. The bar is designed to work both as part of dinner and as a destination in its own right, which matters on a night when plans rarely stop after the last course.

Music is present before it takes over the room. On a typical evening, live vocals, piano, violin and saxophone are designed to sit beneath conversation rather than dominate dinner. Later, NAHATÉ’s regular club nights bring DJs into the Main Room and Private Room, with the two spaces able to carry different musical moods at the same time. Stay where the night suits you, or follow it somewhere louder.

And if the evening runs late and dinner suddenly feels like a long time ago, there is a dedicated night menu. Light bites, cheeses, fresh fruit and more substantial options are available for guests who linger. No ceremony required.

The weeks around Christmas and New Year give that familiar progression a festive setting. Start with dinner, stay for another drink, move with the music or find a quieter room as the night changes around you. The point is not to rush from one plan to the next, but to let the evening unfold in one place.
Before the holiday break or in the weeks after New Year, settle in and let the evening take its time.
